Design Intent

This design started from a simple idea: I wanted to create a 卡比+马力欧帽子+底座3D打印创意设计灵 model that I could 3D print myself. There are similar items on the market, but the satisfaction of designing and making something with your own hands is unmatched.

Design Process

I went through multiple iterations of this design. The first version was too conservative, basically a copy of existing designs. The second version went too far in the opposite direction. After several refinements, I found the perfect balance — extracting the most visually striking elements and rebuilding the entire form around them.

3D Printing Tips

Recommended Material: PETG offers the best balance of strength and printability. PLA works well for display pieces.

Layer Height: 0.2mm provides good detail without excessive print time. Consider 0.16mm for visible surfaces.

Support: This model is designed for minimal supports. Most overhangs print well at 45° or less.

Infill: 15-20% infill is sufficient. Use 3 perimeter walls for best strength-to-weight ratio.
